Dental Assistant

Katie found her way into the dental field after the birth of her daughter. She was looking for a career in which she could help people and quickly fell in love with dental assisting.  What she discovered was that when you love something, learning feels easy, and Katie completed her dental assisting program first in her class.  Upon graduation, she was among the first class to be acknowledged as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant by the state of Massachusetts.

Katie looks forward to coming into work each day knowing she will be working with a tremendous team, constantly learning and providing patients with a positive dental experience.  Some of her favorite days are those when she is able to help a nervous patient feel more comfortable in the chair.  Her friendly smile puts people at ease almost immediately.  While Katie is originally from Massachusetts, she spent several years living in South Carolina, and bring a bit of that “southern hospitality” to our office! 

Katie loves spending her free time with her daughter, who particularly loves visiting the animals at the zoo and the local farm.  Katie has a sweet tooth and loves to bake!
